An EMBER TO REMEMBER: SOUND
Sound is one of the most essential elements in the universe. It is one of the few components that create movement and frequencies in every environment. Sound consistently surrounds us in some form.
From a scientific study, there are several types of sounds and how they are received by people and within an environment separately (What Is Sound?). Depending on one's belief, sound has existed since the creation of the universe. Those who prefer a logical or theoretical approach regarding the creation of the universe may choose to believe in the Big Bang Theory. The theory focuses on how the universe exploded from a single particle and consistently expanded becoming the universe (Space.com). Though the Big Bang Theory's original focus does not suggest sound influenced the universe's expansion, other scientists agree that some form of sound did (Institute of Physics).
There is then the belief (believers) that God spoke the world into existence. Genesis chapter one explains that the world was without form, void, and full of darkness, and God said, "Let there be light." (Genesis 1:1-3)
Not to place too much emphasis on multiple scientific studies or one's chosen beliefs, the universe is now established and visible. However, the universe beginning formation reflects the importance of sound and its frequency to create movement.
WORDS | SOUND RELEASE
To get to the point of this article, it's a simple reminder to remain aware of the words we release—the sound we release. As mentioned earlier, there are several types of sound. Focusing on audible sounds, this form of sound serves as the basis for how humans receive and exchange words. Exchanging and receiving words can dictate moods, beliefs, and outlooks on life at any given time.
The words we release over ourselves, others, environments, and different situations establish a frequency—positive or negative. Though our situations or circumstances are not always ideal, consistently watching the words we release can shift our capacity to act, think, believe, or respond to certain things better—not perfectly, just the best we can.
YOUR ENVIRONMENT & SURROUNDINGS
There is a popular saying, "Words Create Worlds." Our words hold much weight within an environment.
Like the earth's existence coming into form by sound, we have the same influence within our personal environment or that we take part in collectively. Though our actions are essential within an environment, our words are the foundation. We should not only focus on the words we release, but what we listen to, read, or adhere to from culture as well.
Words affect our mental, physical, emotional, and relational state. Though we may be unable to change or control everything around us, our words serve as an important frequency to help keep us grounded.
